Tips for Writing Letters to Russian Women |
In your initial letter, you should provide the following information: 路 Your full name 路 Your full address 路 Your age, height, and weight 路 Your email address 路 Children you have and their ages 路 Anyone who lives with you (family, roommates, etc.) 路 Your marital status (presumably single) 路 Your occupation 路 Your hobbies and interests 路 Description of your lifestyle 路 Description of where you live 路 Your personality 路 Your goals in life 路 Your expectations of your wife 路 If you are interested in having children with her 路 Why you are looking for a Russian woman 路 Your feelings about religion 路 If you have serious health problems 路 Let her know if you own your own home 路 Let her know that you can support a family 路 Tell her you are serious about getting married Things you should not do in your letters: 路 Don鈥檛 use slang or colloquialisms 路 Don鈥檛 use words or phrases she is not going to understand 路 Don鈥檛 try to explain difficult concepts 鈥" keep things simple 路 Don鈥檛 talk about your problems with women 路 Don鈥檛 talk about other problems in your life 路 Don鈥檛 talk about other women or other Russian women 路 Don鈥檛 talk about sex 路 Don鈥檛 talk negatively about anything 鈥" if possible, say things in a positive manner rather than negative (e.g. 鈥淚 like simple wholesome food,鈥 rather than 鈥淚 hate ethnic food.鈥) 路 Don鈥檛 try to impress her with the things you have. You want her to want you for who you are, not what you own. 路 Don鈥檛 bad mouth other men who are writing to her or try to discourage her from writing to them. When writing your first few letters to a woman, begin the letters with 鈥楬ello鈥 or 鈥楬i鈥 and her name. Do not use 鈥楧ear鈥 as it will be translated literally into the Russian. To her, you will appear extremely forward. You don鈥檛 even know her and you are calling her a name similar to 鈥楬oney鈥 or 鈥楧arling.鈥 English speaking people use the introductory word 鈥楧ear鈥 when they are writing a complaint letter or sending a letter to a person they are suing in court. If you think about it, it鈥檚 almost insane to use the word 鈥楧ear鈥 so generally. But it is a custom we learn habit and as such is an unconscious habit. It鈥檚 so unconscious; we do it even when it sounds absurd. It鈥檚 about as unconscious of a thought process as putting Braille letters on a drive up teller machine, or when executioner鈥檚 use an alcohol swab before the give a condemned convict a lethal injection (is he really concerned about the threat of infection at that point!) You don鈥檛 need to be Superman to impress her. You only need to be a normal guy. Unlike western women, who seem to be looking for somebody out of the ordinary, Russian women are more likely to be attracted to someone who has a regular job, has average looks, who has no bad habits, who likes a cozy home life and children. If you are reliable, faithful, kind, honest, stable, you are everything she is looking for. It may sound ironic, but if you sound too wonderful, it may decrease your chances with a woman. She may feel that she doesn鈥檛 deserve you or that you are out of her league. Russian women suffer from a lack of self-confidence. A lot of it has to do with how single women are perceived in Russia. Don鈥檛 overwhelm her, or you may scare her away.
